Hi luvs! So here I am again with another monthly favorites.
I’m sharing these items because I observed some positive results after using them.
I hope that you can find something in this post that inspires you in some way.
Enjoy!
Konjac Facial Sponge
Gentle everyday exfoliation. I couldn’t believe that this little sponge could actually give me such great results. It’s pretty beneficial. The first time I used the Konjac sponge I was amazed at my results. My skin looked so radiant and smooth. I loved it!
BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Highlighter Palette
I love that this product is cruelty free and vegan. The first time I wore this product I was blown away because it’s amazing glow. I actually got good deal on this when I purchased it.
LED Rechargeable Camping Lantern
I bought this lantern when I went looking for an umbrella actually. I did get my umbrella but I also picked up this awesome lantern as well. I purchased this for EC$25.00 and I do not regret it. It is rechargeable (using USB cord), solar charging as well as AA batteries. Dark nights have never been the same again! Haha! Plus it’s pretty handy for an island girl in these months of June to November which are marked as the hurricane season. Storm ready with my little lantern!
Goddess Headbands

I decided that my hair needed some accessorising so I picked these headbands up. They make such a difference. I love wearing them as they add such amazing vibe to your look. Plus they were on sale at the time. What a steal!!!
Reusable Sanitary Napkins
In keeping with my minimalist journey, my decision to use less processed foods and products and just an overall desire to engage in more healthy practices I decided to ditch the regular pads and invest in something safer. In addition to this I did some research on how pads were manufactured and let’s just say that I wish I had never used them at all in the first place. With this in mind I did some research and found out about the reusable sanitary napkins (which isn’t so far fetched because this is what women used back in the day…at least that’s what I’ve been told by my mom and grandmother). They are much safer for you and it doesn’t hurt that you save the money that you’d have to spend purchasing the disposable ones monthly.
True Glow by Conair Sonic Facial Skincare System
For those of us who do not want to splurge on a Clarisonic skincare system, we can reap similar benefits from a cheaper option. This skincare system comes fit with 2 brush heads for your face and 2 for your body. The exfoliation is significant yet isn’t abrasive on your delicate skin. A facial brush is better at deep cleansing your skin than just regular washing.
Vanilla Bean Night Cream
Pretty much one of the best night creams I have ever used. Leaves my skin feeling so moisturized and smooth. Helps minimize my pores and has an amazing smell. I have to keep reminding myself that it’s not icecream. Lol!
Hope you enjoyed this month’s favorites.
Love, light and kisses!
Loving that headband – very cute x

I was considering buying the Conair facial cleanser as a Clarisonic alternative but I was’t sure how well it would work. I’ll definitely try it soon hopefully and I never heard of the sponges, will be researching those also.

I love this list. This post makes me want to try the facial sponge. I have a clarisonic and I am obsessed. I am curious how this brush would compare to holding up over time.

The sponge is a nice little touch to your facial cleansing routine. I haven’t used the clarisonic before but I’ve heard some great reviews about it. However this Conair comes pretty close

Love it, love it…love it. I am doing research right now on reusable pads. It’s amazing how we have gotten so modern and in the process killing ourselves. Fantastic post!

Thank you. You’re so right. Trying to be so modern and cool and in the process we’re shortening our existence or the quality of it
