Here's the reason: My island, the Commonwealth of Dominica was hit by a major category 5 hurricane on Monday September 18th 2017. This left the island almost unrecognizable. It destroyed our power grid,… Continue reading Just A Quick Hello

Here at IGOAM (Island Girl On A Mission) we love a party and we are celebrating yet again! You can't help it when you live in paradise. Today we are celebrating another blogger recognition and I am so thrilled. Not only because it's another excuse to celebrate but because this indicates that our message is resonating with others. One where you can be your truest self. The experiences that you will have with your tribe will affect your perspective and allow you to see life from a different angle. In addition it will allow you to be more caring and tolerant of individuals who are different from you because you will be more likely aware of why they are the way they are.

“So for the people in your life who have not known your worth, who have been reckless with your heart or fallen painfully short of your expectation, sincerely wish them well, forgive yourself for holding on to it and preventing yourself from really living, forgive them for their shortcomings (as well as your own) scoop up that huge beautiful life lesson and all the pieces of your heart, and sail on. You have mountains to move, dreams to dream, and a world to change, even if the only world is your own.” - Alexis Jones, I Am That Girl
