All this being said, I'd like to say thank you to my Chocolate family. You all are remarkable and a truly genuine bunch. I am so happy I made the decision to visit Chocolate Fest 2017 and that I had the opportunity to meet such amazing people. The thing is I thought that you all were amazing before this hurricane hit and then you all came to my aid, so imagine how much more dear you all are to my heart even now.
So this is what the trees taught me, that if they can bounce back, if they can stand tall after being battered so severely, if they could be stripped of everything but Life and still be beautiful, that even after this tragedy they could flourish then I could to. The trees taught me that I need to stand tall and thrive! The trees reminded me that as long as I have root in ground that I will be okay, that I will make it and so will you!
So a very happy new year to everyone. I wish you love, I wish you happiness, I wish you good vibes, I wish you light, I wish you blesssings from above, I wish you soul joy, I wish you a safe space where you can live your truth, I wish you success and I wish you friends and family who love and accept you whole heartedly, in spite of your flaws, I wish you peace for each day and I wish you find every good thing your heart desires.
Here's to a bright, prosperous and fulfilling new year 2018! Love and Light!
Something so simple that I once took for granted is now one of my greatest delights and is now a cherished opportunity.
When you find your tribe ensure that it is a balanced one, a tribe where you can have the best of both worlds and where you can gain knowledge on varying aspects of life. One where you can be your truest self. The experiences that you will have with your tribe will affect your perspective and allow you to see life from a different angle. In addition it will allow you to be more caring and tolerant of individuals who are different from you because you will be more likely aware of why they are the way they are.
“So for the people in your life who have not known your worth, who have been reckless with your heart or fallen painfully short of your expectation, sincerely wish them well, forgive yourself for holding on to it and preventing yourself from really living, forgive them for their shortcomings (as well as your own) scoop up that huge beautiful life lesson and all the pieces of your heart, and sail on. You have mountains to move, dreams to dream, and a world to change, even if the only world is your own.” - Alexis Jones, I Am That Girl
